I received a call from a new customer. They have a MICS with 3 T1 cards. (6.1 xc) They have a "dialing server" they are trying to connect via one of the T1 cards. In short... the dialer dials a number across the T1 to the Norstar which in turn will dial out the other T1's to the Public Network. Has anyone ever done something like this. My main question is: How would the Norstar be programmed to receive a "call" from the direct T1 server and somehow grab the normal T1's and dial the phone number? My first guess is something in routing, but how does an "incoming" call use the routing table to dial out?? Any suggestions, info, or help would be greatly appreciated. They want me to be on site tomorrow. Thanks in advance of any info anyone can provide.

Dan-didn't have your phone number to call you.
Anybody - Here is what I have. A dialing server with a T1 card is connected directly to a T1 in the Norstar. If the dialer dials a DID number, the proper phone will ring. So that means the connections are good. I set up a test with a destination code of 77 and force my cell phone number to be dialed after grabbing Line Pool PRI-A. Pick up I/C and dial 77 and my cell phone works. Have the dialer dial 77 and all it gets is a busy signal for about 5 sec. then a dial tone (but still can't dial anything on the dial tone either) I have set up remote access package and put in the PRI-A lines assigned to that package. ANY Clues as to what is still missing? It is as if the call coming in can't find the destination codes to know where to go. Thanks for any info.
