I am working on a customer's Call Pilot 100 and the darned thing never starts up. I connected through the serial port and watched the progress of the boot-up. After some time, it starts displaying the following message: "VF_EXTIN: Illegal extent in indirect block, fn1=7, path1=/access2/SEKUR,bn=84195"
It repeats this over and over again with incrementing numbers on the left side. They did have a power issue (the unit was on a battery backup) and hasn't worked right since. Am I dealing with someting that can be fixed? Does the whole unit need replaced because of a messed up memory card?

SEKUR refers to keycodes I believe - almost sounds like the keycodes got corrupted. I've run into that on BCM a couple times, but haven't worked on a CP100 before.
Maybe remove and reapply the keycode files? Might need Nortel support to do that.

Nortel has a problem with the power plugs. Change the power plug with the transformer. (Radio Shack makes compatible transformers) This will probably fix your problem
