Hi,

We recently moved to a new office that had a Norstar MICS running V. 3.0 software. We want to use the 'call forward no answer' feature found on later versions of the software. It doesn't seem to exist on v. 3.0. Is there a similar feature on v. 3.0 that will allow us to automatically forward calls from the attendant phone (an M-7324) after a certain number of rings?

Thanks!

It's probably under "Capabilities" which in turn is under the "Admin" section of programming.

That is done in the voicemail.
Press Feature 983
Enter log password:

Press AA
Press Lines
Enter Line Number... 001 9You will need to make changes to all the lines you have. If you have 4 lines make changes to lines 001-004. If you have 8 lines make changes to lines 001-004 and 025-028 which represent lines 5-8)
Make sure it is set to answer (change on your softkey)
Make sure it is set to table 1 (change on your softkey)

Change rings to the number you need before auto att'd picks up.(change on your softkey)

If you press feature 983 and the display say inactive feature you may not have voice mail

Welcome to the board Texas Cowboy!

I edited out the passwords in your post above. Please don't provide passwords in the public forum (don't worry, I got my hand slapped early on too). If you would like to provide this type of info, try sending it to the individual via email (if you're sure they're not just trying to hack a system [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com] ).
