I am new to Nortel products so I was hoping someone could help me out with a problem I'm having with a BCM 400(3.6). The phones that are set to ring will follow the set forward on no answer and busy to voice mail for outside calls as well as internal calls. The office just wants the ringing phones to go to voice mail on internal calls. Is there a way to just get the internal calls to follow the forwarding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any call (internal or external) that rings a set will follow the forwarding on that set. Hunt Groups are the exception to this. So, if you don't want the calls going to an individual's mail, you'll need to configure Hunt Groups. Open Business Communications Manager click on "Configure" & Log in to Unified Manager
1.Click and open Services 2.Click and open Telephony Services 3.Click and open Hunt Groups 4.Click on hunt group 01 to highlight
The following will be displayed
MODE can be either linear, rotary or broadcast Linear means the first call will go to the first member each time. Rotary means the calls are shared out equally and broadcast means all the extensions will ring at the same time
HUNT DELAY is only applicable to linear and rotary hunt groups and determine how many rings before the call moves to the next extension in the hunt group, if unanswered
IF BUSY can be busy tone, queue (which will queue the call waiting for the next extension to become available) or overflow (divert to an overflow extension, hunt group or mailbox) If you select overflow, you will need to click in the overflow box and enter the extension number to where the calls are to overflow to.
You can name your hunt group in the name box (maximum of 7 characters) 5.Click and open hunt group 01 and more selections will appear 6.Click on members to highlight and to add the extensions, right click on you mouse and click on add Enter the extension number and click on save. Continue with this process to add the members to the hunt group. 7. If you need to assign a line to the hunt group Click on line assignment and right click your mouse to add the line number to the hunt group, then click on save.
