Back in Nov 2004 I installed a CICS R4.2 with a Flash4 VM R2.0. I built it to allow an incoming call on one CO line to "bridge" through the VM to a second CO line and out of this site to another location. It works but the transmission level dropped way down. I've not been able to find a fix over the last six months and wonder if someone may have come up with a solution to this issue. I look forward to your wisdom.

I know the old Nortels had this problem and I believe they fixed this in software. I havent had any problems like this with CICS 6.1 or MICS 6.1

6x16's, 8x24's and ealry MICS software had this issue. Its unfortunate we dont have the ability to adjust trunk to trunk gain or conference gain levels.

Im sure someone here has the lowdown on what software release did not have this problem. Just know that its not the end of the world and there is a fix for this.

Hi sydeshowMO and stringmachine - thanks for the replies. I did try resetting the CO line level to no avail. Also, the CICS 4.2 was one the client got somewhere else, not from me and I was working with what I got - also to no avail. If I ever get the chance to pursue R6.1 on this I'll let you know if it solves the problem. Thanks again.
