I'm running into some problems when setting up a CCR. I'm trying to make it where when you press a certain button it transfers to an internal number, the number shows up on many phones and I would like it to be able to be picked up at any of these phones. I know how to program it where it can be picked up at a certain phone. But when I try to making it where it transfers to the line itself...I get the prompt the extension is not available. Any suggestions…I’m at my wits end

Your English is a little broken but i think i know what you mean. Do you want the caller to select an option & a group of phones ring? if so why dont you you make all of the selected phones members of a hunt grp, & when you build your path in CCR put in the hunt DN. Also making sure under HUNT GRP make sure it is set to Braodcast (all member extns will ring)

Sorry for the confusion. No, what I'm trying to do is set up a CCR. After the greeting message it says press one to leave a message and press to two to speak with a tech operator. Now the tech number shows up in many places since we have more than one tech. When I program it with the number it says number is unavailable. If I program it with the IC number only that phone with that IC will be able to pick up the call. What I'm trying to find out is why do I get the number unavailable when it should be an easy internal transfer

If you are trying to ring a group of phones that are on the same system as the Auto Attendant, Hunt Groups or Answer DNs are the way to go.

It sounds like you are trying to transfer to an external number, that appears and rings on each of the techs phones. That would not be the recommended way to set this up, because you would tie up three external lines for one call to your techs (the original line that the caller came in on, the line that the call was transfered OUT on, and the line that the transfered call rang IN on). If the tech phones are on an external system, this configuration is valid. If not, use an Answer DN or a Hunt Group.

Good Luck!

I'm rather new to this system so I will tell you what I am doing and you can tell me what I'm doing wrong. I first start buy doing a FEATURE**line to get my dn number. Is that the dn or port? I write that number down then enter feature 983 and go to the CCR and path way 2. I put in xfer, int, then that number I wrote down. When I try it out I get number is Unavailable, but yet nobody is on the line. All incoming lines are feed from the main switch which is a DMS-100, which uses a 7 digit dialing plan.

You cannot transfer to a line. As BCMGuy said, you'll have to assign a hunt group or use an answer dn.
