Likely due to some unnecessary phone set swapping by some of my users, one of the sets in question no longers brings up the right model under "Terminals&Sets" (ID's as M7208, actually is T7208).
Is there a way to correct this, or is it even an issue at all? (Set Relocation was set to 'Y' when this all happened if that helps)

I believe with older levels of software that is the way the phones will show. I think you need 6.1 in order for T series phones to show as T series. Just a thought but you might want to turn off set relocation as I've read many posts stating that it can create problems (i.e. corrupted files etc.). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Beer, sure I'll try one

Thanks Tronic1.
You're right, everything's an 'M' (and we're running v4.1). I could have sworn I saw 'T's there at some point but I'm probably confusing it with another location.

Although set relocate is a useful tool, I think the way to use it is to turn it on to do your set relocate then immediately turn it off. This way you don't have problems with customers swapping phones without your knowledge and making a mess for you to clean up later. As I said, I know installers who state that they won't use it because they feel it corrupts the system. Instead they would rather swap cross-connects. Just my two cents.

Also, you make more service call money!

Any T series set running on anything older then 6.1 will have the layout of a M series set.
I always have set relocation off. Unless of course the customer request for it to be turned on It screws up the port assingments and target lines dont fallow anyway so whats the use. I have never seen it curupt files or anything, just makes the port assingment ugly and a well documented site can even show some confusion to an un-experienced tech or site admin.
