I have an installation with a norstar 8x24DS vers 5.1 connected to a NAM. I made the extns on the Norstar start with 10,then 11, 12, etc. i connected the NAM to ext 30-32 (ports 121-123).

I then reintinalized and ran config on the NAM and now seem to have lost my manager/admin mailbox (102/12). When I use feature 983 and try to log into this using the standard string it just immediately exits. Also when I try and log into mailbox 12 with feature 981 it says invalid mailbox. (Mailbox 10 works fine and so does feature 982). furthemore when I try and rerun feature 983/config again it walks me through the screens (lang, groups, etc) and then tells me it can't continue with config and exits. Also feature 915 is inactive. i have also tried feature 985/9 to reset the pswd several times.

I have tried changing the Norstar extns to 3 digit and back to the default 2 digit numbering scheme (statrting at 21) thinking that having an extn 10 & 12 maybe a problem. However this hasn't fixed it.

I can also connect to the NAM with my laptop through the serial port and can see the log in for english/francais. But it asks me for a password and I've tried all the Norstar ones i know but can't figure it out.

Can anyone help me to "unbreak" this?
