Hello all, I've got a customer who's having some problems with MICS 1.0 XC software. Specifically they're having a problem with deregistering a Companion DN through an admin phone instead of the handset. It would seem the menu choices are limited to only four main headings, none of which display the heading, Portable DN's, which I thought was the heading you would use to deregister from an admin phone. If anybody has a MICS 1.0 XC install guide in .pdf format, or any other advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

Just to be a little clearer, my customer had 2 companion handsets registered to their system on DN's 637 and 638. These units ended up failing so he couldn't use the handsets to deregister from the base station. Now, he's managed to register 2 good handsets (c3060's) to DN's 639 and 640 but, now wants to know how to deregister DN's 637 and 638. I know there's a way to do it in programming, but the problem is that the menu choices that I'm familiar with are not appearing is his version of XC software. What am I missing. TIA, John

Seems to me the heading is Radio Data, or something like that. Can't quite remember off the top of my head.
Anybody?

Thanks for the responses. I really appreciate it. I'll let my customer know and try and walk them through getting those DN's deregistered. Thanks again, John
