I recently re-acquired my old Nortel 6x16, DR5 module with StarTalk Flash sw ver 1.5. I could have sworn that I had had a three-digit extension. Setting it up again, I see that the previous owner used two-digit DNs... said he doesn't remember changing them.
When I go through the menus, I can change the DNs, but cannot increase the size - no option for that even though the DR5 guide shows and "Increase DN Size" option in the doc.
Can this be done? If so, other than changing all my AA settings, what are the drawbacks?

Hello jcalka, welcome to the board. Please complete your profile. Yes, this can be done. But, you will have to initialize both the 616 and the mail. DN length is set during the startup proceedure. So, I would assume that I would lose all my programming - correct?
