I have:
1)Nortel 616 2) StarTalk Flash sw 1.5 3) Two lines in 4) DSL in one line 5) 2-digit DNs
This was my phone system many years ago, sold it, now have it back.
I was able to hunt in my old config:
That is user is on "line 1" on handset, outside person dials "line 1" number and it comes into "Line 2" on handset. Also had 3-digit DNs at that time.
Currently: When user is on "line 1" on handset, outside user dials "line 1" number, outside user gets busy signal.
Also, thought I read that you may need 3-digit DN to hunt from another post - is that correct?

Hunting from one line to another is a TELCO programming issue. Turn your hunting instructions into your provider to make that change. Hunt groups in Norstar do require 3 digit DNs (minimum). But, this is an entirely different feature (and is not supported on the 616). I hope this helps! ------------------ BCM Guy www.BCMguy.com Learn more about the Nortel Networks Business Communications Manager HERE !
