I’ am trying to set up line redirection on a Norstar system and have a question.
I have set "allow redirection" to "Yes" - I go to the station and hit "Feature 84" and I’m not sure what to do next. I want to redirect extension to external phone. Any idea how o do this? Thanks Daniela

It will either say "denied in admin" or "select a line out." If it is the first one, you must have it enabled in programming.

Do you want to forward a LINE or a SET? Feature 84 is "Line" redirection. It is used to redirect a ringing line to an external location. This is NOT the same as fowarding an extension (set) offsite. Use Feature "4" for that. See this thread: https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/Forum8/HTML/001427.html Feature 4 DOES work for external call forward, if A) the software is new enough, and B) call routing (routes and destination codes) is configured in the system.
