I have a customer with MICS 6.1 and PRI. Using Callpilot 150 for Voicemail. 5-10 Calls per day the caller(different callers) will recieve "you have entered an invalid extension" recording. Sometimes the callers can't even break the auto-attendant recording to enter their desired extension number. They process many calls per day so for the most part everything works fine. I have also replace the CallPilot with a brand new one, both were brandnew and both did the same thing. Has anyone heard of this happening?
Thankyou for your help.

Loop Current is something the provider will have to check, yes?
Thankyou for your help.

I think the problem is a defective callpilot, there was an issue with dtmf problems(like that one you describing) with call pilot and there was a DSP patch for that .so I think most likely the problem is that, I will check what version of call pilot do you have if its 3.0 most likely the patch its already loaded but if its anything prior to that so it depends on your vendor if the patch is loaded or not so either you get the patch and loaded or replace the unit with a good one. In regards to loop current it’s only an issue with regular loop lines but not with Pri circuits.

As I had stated I did replace the Callpilot, and both units were brand new with the DTMF patch loaded. The funny thing is, I can place the call with a phone that fails consistently, and use a tone generator through the mouth piece of the failing phone to navigate through the Callpilot. So it seems to have something to do with the dialpad of certain telephone hardware.
Thankyou for your help.

I forgot to add this; the failing phones work just fine on other voicemail systems(non-nortel).
Thankyou for your help.
