I noticed the other day when I reset the power on this system that I lost programming, can the battery be replaced like the cics. also I can not get the ATA adapter to work properly, will call intercom but not dial 9 to outside line and when you call the single line ext. it rings once and disconnects, maybe not compatible???

have to change out the software pack thats where the battery is located.
You don’t drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

The Software Cartridge has a capacitor in that is providing the battery backup, over time this capacitor goes bad. You can either replace the software cartridge or replace the capicitor, this can be done in the field with a soldering gun. The ATA problem sounds like it does not have access to that pool needed when you dial "9" I would check that first.
