OK,

I am redoing configuration of a StarTalk. My current AA is as follows "Welcome to XYZ Company. Please listen to the following selections. For BLAH BLAH press 1, for BLAH BLAH press."

I have CCTree 1 (and no others). In my greeting 1 it says "Welcome to XYZ Company. Please listen to the following selections." Greeting 2 plays the after hours message.

That's all the greetings on my AA. Where in the world is the source for the message playing For BLAH BLAH press 1, for BLAH BLAH press."????

I can't seem to find it as a recorded prompt.

This area tends to confuse non-nortel people so you're not alone. You have greetings and you have the home menu of the ccr tree. The home menu of the ccr tree is where you record the pointers "for sales press 1" and so forth. Your welcome greeting is greeting 1. Once that plays the ccr home menu plays to direct the caller. Hope that makes sense!!

I've checked the greetings in AA Admin (1 and 2). #1 Says "Welcome to XXX. Please listen to the following selections". #2 says "Thank you for calling XXX our office hours are...."

The blurb I cannot find recorded is the one that gives the menu prompts.

This would be the CCR primary recording. Right? If so, I just need to record over it because it's not letting me preview the recording. Shouldn't it?

Go to other and ccr. Enter the tree number. Enter the path number. It should be zero or "0". Follow the prompts from there. Your tree must be disabled before any changes and take place. When you exit out it will give you the option to save.

You can get a manual for the Startalk Mini, just do a Google search with the following words: Antique voicemail Startalk Mini.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
