Got call from 2nd party vendor to go install flash2 and program system.
No problem there.
They had a Fast RAD, that when I tried to program said inactiv feature. Never seen this before, so thought I would ask. MICS with Software 4.1XC.
Any ideas?

Try the Microsoft approach, power it off and on and then see if it sync's up. Did you verify that it is hooked to an extention from the mics? Someone may have taken it'e extention in a move or something. Good luck

One interconnect company that I know of that does MACS for a large company in my area uses a Viking unit. They have it answer the line (set higher than the Fast RAD ring number) and through touch tones, they can do a power reset on the Fast RAD. It is a common problem with Fast RAD's and this way they don't have to call the customer to reset the power.

It looks like it is the power supply on the Fast RAD. I will try another when I go back.

If I remember right, there is a power LED on the Fast RAD.
