hey guys,recently took on new customer,he inherited a system when he purchased a hardware store, hes running a dr5 rel.04 ,tried to get into installer programing,and found out the default password has been changed,my client is trying to track down the tech that had serviced the system,no luck yet.just wondering if possible is there any way to get in,without starting from scratch and having to reprogram everything.

Which system is it? An old 6x16 or the 8x24? There is a way to do it but it involves opening the KSU. Let me know which system it is and I will PM the instructions to you this afternoon if you still need them.

Do you have a RAD?

You can access with RAD and reset password.

If you connect vie the RAD don't you have to put in the installer password before you reset the password?

With a 6X16 wouldn't it just be easier to reprogram?
