A local Telco has a DMS500. I am wondering why that NI-2 protocal is not supported in Canada when using PRI? Stated by the local Telco. The local Telco does not have Ni-2 protocol on the DMS500. I can not get the caller id (name/number) to work as the PBX is configured for NI-2. (incoming is number only and outgoing is just the billing number from the PBX)
Any thoughts.

They probably have it in the s/w pack, may not want to pay for the activation codes.
Ever seen Nortel give anything away for free?
