One of my customers has a bad Co line port (line 31). There are 2 more available (labled 7,8) on the block (which would be 32,33 I believe).
Is there a way to make port 7 be line 31. I know on Comdial I can do a port swap.

well if port 7 is defective changing the programing or (port swap)your dial tone is still sitting on port 7 just move it line 32 and copy the line settings to all sets remove line 31 then assingn line 32 should fall in the same place have you tried swapping line cards to see if it is the card could be a pulled jumper if your line 31 is bad then you have a good chanced that the others might be as well,dunno if you have trouble shooted this yet but try swapping cards to see if you get tone on line 31
