Welcome to the board, Fosnut!
Do you have a UPS on this system? If so, what kind?

I assume from your post that the system does not reset, just a few phones ?? In other words, do they just start flashing for no reason?? I would check cabling. Make sure the amphenol is fully in place. Sometimes amphenols have little screw that come with them. You need to back those screws out or even remove them. I have also seen a bad jack or wire around the screw terminal on the jack.

Do you mean that the phones are just going through the steps they do when you normally first plug them in or are the ports resetting? I have seen dirty and faulty keypad membranes (mylars) cause the phones to go into reset, but that would not affect the programming.

No UPS on system. Only the three phones that I know of are going through the steps they do when first plugged in. The lights on the phone start flashing for no reason. It can do it when the phone is idle or busy.No programming is lost. One of these phones fails the BERT test, even at the MDF.Could one phone cause problems for others? I am going to install another amphenol & only connect the one phone that is failing the BERT test to see what happens.

I had this only happen once, it turned out that the number of modules we had plugged in was overloading the circuit. Add up the amp rating and I think you will find you are well over 15. We had electricians install more dedicated outlets and all was good. Check it out.
