I dont think so, unless you are using the recall timer. Might need to install an ACD solution if its that important.

Unfortunately there is no way of telling which call was placed on hold first, although the calls will usually hunt from top to bottom, so starting with the highest line number should do it.

Call Queing is a handy feature, but it only answers the ringing call that was first. As for Hold, Nortel should come up with something, I can't see it being a hard thing to add.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

The easy answer is that it CAN'T be done (you may just want to stick with that). The RIGHT answer is that it CAN be done using SWCA (if the software is new enough to support it). But, the customer would have to alter their routine a little. And, more importantly, it would need to be implemented by someone that really knows the feature (it is a fairly unconventional way to operate).
So, there it is.... I knew one day I would open this can of worms... and now its done.
...time for a beer! :toast:

Marv,
I know, I know, I know :bang:
I saw the question last night. And, I was fine with people just thinking it couldn't be done. I was just going to let it slide.
I don't know what got into me this afternoon. But, I let the cat out of the bag.
If you EVER see me do this again, please take the liberty to edit my post if you know it is for the greater good!
OK.... I'm going to work on a BRIEF explanation. But, I'm not going to get into configuration in the open forum. This is the stuff that makes us the big bucks. I have won new customers due to other vendors' misconfiguration (or inappropriate use) of this feature.
...be back soon (time for another beer).
