Hello, I am having a strange problem and need some help.
I have added a BST (FD) version to a BCM 3.7 with a DOC.
Everything works just fine intercoming a dn, ringing etc..
The issue is this. When I try to open my door (just need a N/O contact) the DOC does not respond to any digits, I have verified programming and the dip switches, and whats really funny, no matter what I do, enable/disable doc, change digits etc.. when you hangup from the door phone (either call it or receive a call from the door phone), the DOC trips the relay based on the time in the dip switch setting. This is a problem because if the customer does not to allow someone in, once they hangup it automatically opens. The documentaion is very vague with little help. Has anyone come across this? Any help would be appreicated.

Hey phnman, Obviously the door opening digit has been set to "hookswitch"! (just kidding) I've never seen this issue before. You've probably already double checked the wiring of everything. On a phone with a 2-line display, do you get an "Open" softkey when the doorphone calls?

This does sound like a wiring issue. I assume you have wired the DOC and Doorphone together as per the install manual... the manual is a little confusing.
