Another fun one!!!
Have a customer with a 4x16 connected to CP100 and they are using Auto Attendant. When a call rings in from the outside the system has a brief 1/2 ring on line one before the CP picks up. Any idea how to stop this from happening? Thanks in advance!!!

I assume you have the CP set to "0" rings. If so, you will have to turn the ringing off on the sets.

Don't forget to turn off DRT as well.

Is this just during the nights or all day? At nights I always set up a ring group with the vmail DN only If it is during the day, I would still make a ring group and leave the phone in night service all the time with only the vmail DN. That way if the vmail ever fails the system can be turned off nights and the calls come in on the lines instead of through the intercom key. It sometimes confuses the customer.


Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol
