I can't tell anything from that picture - it's too grainy! Can you resize?

This was my first time adding pictures, so it took a few tries. Should be good now.

it looks like he just added a modular cord in with the cords of the butt set. the banjo goes between the modular cord and the 110 cord.

Looks like all you did was add a line cord with a plug. I would think all that's going to be is a PITA. How is that going to help you with 110's?Why not just leave it alone and use the banjo?
What I do is have two cords for my banjo- I keep one in each end. One cord has a RJ plug, other has a Krone test adaptor since we have a lot of Krone demarcs around here. You could do the same except with a 110 adaptor.
This way you are set for most circumstances, even 2 line jacks.

That is a lot better, liquidvw! My butt set has a removable mod plug on it, the one with the bed of nails, and I can plug a mod line cord into it if I need. Then just use adapters for any other terminations I might run into.

Why not just clip the butt set leads onto the banjo

Anyone know where I can secure a 110 adapter for my butt-set? I tried Graybar a few years ago & they seemed to be clueless. What I wound up with was a 110 to 8-pin modular adapter that I had to use in conjunction with my 8-pin banjo...totally useless...
I have been getting by with just pulling the jumper then punching down a piece of x-connect, then srtipping it to clip my leads on...
There has got to be a better way!
As I don't see alot of BIX or KRONE here in Houston, I'm just looking for this elusive 110 adapter. There is alot of that here...

I've got a Chesivale butt set that came with a cordset that included a line cord ended in a modular "K" plug. It was too long and kept getting tangled in the clip leads, so I shortened it to a couple of inches, put an 8-pin coupler in line with it, and tyraped it to the cordset. Now it stays out of the way, and when checking something with a modular line cord already on it, just plug into the coupler.
