Is it possible for me to have a line that instead of switching automatically to voice mail when dialed would dial a dedicated cell phone which in turn would allow me to use the Nextel feature therefore not costing phone charges as the Nextel feature is free. This would allow me to eliminate an archaic walkie talkie communication system.

Again what model of Nortel?????

Your intentions are still not real clear. If you want to transfer to an outside number, that should not be too much of a problem depending on the system and software revision that you have. If you are trying to convert the call over to a Nextel Direct connect type connection, I'm not aware of any device that would do that.

If the line used by you only,can use call forward thru {line provider}. or vmail call forward,depends on system. Sounds like you have free inbound on Nextel.---------John
