I gotta Initialize it before I can use it (Digital Networking) Anybody know the default password? I tried xxxx :shrug:

Ok I gotcha but Nortel makes all their default passwords public it shouldn't be an issue? Could someone PM me the default password please?

RBF is right, we watch the board very closely for passwords and remove them when they are discovered.

The default passwords are in the documentation. And, since you are working with BCMs, you can get to all of the available docs through your web browser.

Now for your question:
I suspect you are sitting at a 'LOG:' prompt. If that is the case, the system is actually looking for a mailbox number AND password (not a password alone). Give that a shot and you'll have it working in no time.

Isn't anyone going to delete the numbers that are not passwords?

If we are going to get scolded for puting up the correct info, shouldn't the incorrect info also be removed?

I've always used the square roots of prime numbers for my passwords and that seens to work well. Of course I don't post them.
