Hello all,
I have a customer with a Norstar CICS and CallPilot 150. They have just called me and informed that they received a bill for over $1500 in calls to India. Noone was in the office at the time of these calls.
AT&T is telling that somebody probably hacked their voicemail a/a and is calling out through that .... is something like that possible with a CallPilot ... I have heard of this on Meridian systems, but not CallPilot.
If this is possible, is there anything I should do to prevent this in the future?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Carl.

Always restrict your voicemail ports and advise your customers to use passwords other than 1234 ot 1111.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol
