Hello all,

I have a customer with a callpilot 100. Here is what we are looking for:

From the CCR tree, if the person presses a number, it pages the call, every 15 seconds. If nobody answers this call, I want it to transfer to a voicemail box for the caller to leave a message ... I have set the transfer to ext. after the park/page, but if nobody answers the extension, it just says that the extension is unavailable and goes back to the ccr tree.

I can't set up a CF B/NA on the extension, because the CO lines ring on all phones.

Does anybody know a way for me to accomplish this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Carl.

Set the xfer to a vmail box rather than an ext; Otherwise set up a phantom ext.

Set your rings to 4 AA and 6 cfna to voicemail.

Note: this is one thing i have always "hated" about nortel voicemails, the fact that they use ring count instead of an actual time count measured in seconds. This would resolve a lot of issues like this.

The other thing I hate about Nortel's transfer is that they forgot 5 rings. For FNA it is either 4 or 6. So if you want 4 for AA and 5 for FNA you have to go 6 instead. Bummer. Extra ring time is bad.

I agree with ntlayoff where is the 5 rings,
i have a lot of clients that live answer up to 4 rings then you gotta set the ext"s to 6
now i do 3 for aa and 4 for mailboxes
