Two businesses in one building, using two different cores (Both are NT7B53FA-93). I'd like to know if they can share the same voicemail unit (NT5B06EE-93). I don't think it'd be a good solution because of the single Auto-Attendant. Both businesses would like to use Auto-attendant.
I thought that since the VM unit has two copper ports on it that there may be a solution that would work without buying another VM unit.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've updated it as much as I can. I'm not the most knowledgable in phone systems (why I'm here) and am a nerd by trade.
We're going to try to operate two small businesses in one building using existing equipment if possible (as stated above- 2 cores and a flash unit.) The flash has software version 1.7, so is pretty limited. I don't think it'd be able to do greeting tables and such, but I may be wrong.
Is there a solution other than buying another VM unit? Neither needs to have "AutoAttendant", but we would like the attendant-like function of answering incoming calls (which could be done with greeting tables if it weren't so old).
Any help you can give would certainly be appreciated.

What you have are (2) MICS systems.
The short answer to your question is No.
You would need two separate voicemail units.
Why not combine both businesses on the same system? Upgrade the MICS to 4.1 or better, then upgrade to a callPilot voicemail?
That would accomplish what you are trying to achieve at a reasonable price.

Thanks for the response. I really appreciate it. Our core that's online has ver 30JpM02. What would you estimate the SW update and a CallPilot to cost (ballpark)? Thanks again.

Thanks again. Sorry but this is info that can not be posted in an open forum. You will have to solicit quotes privately.

Sorry, Marv. I didn't intend on bending or breaking any of the rules. Thanks for setting me straight though.
