Need to move a Norstar MICS system with a T-1.
The system has a DTI card NT7B74GA-93.
The T-1 service will also be moved by the service provider to the new location and its supposed to be identical T-1 service.
The release shows SP: 30CQE06 NAT
Believe this is a MICS Rel 6.1.
Plan on moving the ICS with a UPS battery backup so as not to power down the unit. Does anyone see any forseeable problems that may be encountered with the T-1 service. Please be specific.

Make sure the T1 is there and working, even if it takes bringing down another system to test.

You should not have any problem with the T1 when you move it. Of course Murphy's Law always over-rides that statement. DO NOT - I repeat - DO NOT MOVE THE SYSTEM while connected to a UPS. The only problems that you can't prepare for is:
1) The CAP (which saves programming) might be bad and you would lose all programming.
2) The T1 does not come up because the provider didn't do everything for the T1 at the new location.
Other than those two issues, you should not have any problems.

OK, won't move the system hot, therefore I would like to back up the programming before I power it down.

I believe I need to purchase Norstar Remote Utilities Release 11.0 to perform a system backup? Any thing else required to do a backup?

You'll need a FastRad.
