I have a customer who has a MICS with a Call Pilot. They are using a CCR tree and want to know if they pre-record a greeting for inclement weather and then be able to call in remotely to change it to the greeting. I know how to re-record their main greeting remotely, but it is quite long so that really is not a productive method. So I need to know how to switch greetings remotely.
Thanks

Give the call pilot an address you can access remotley via the browser. The you can access it via a call phone and go into the tables to make changes.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Not sure what Nickels is talking about.
Three ways to access CP admin remotely. All require a PC.
1. There is a built in modem. 2. Connect a RAD to the MICS. 3. VPN.

Using the network functionality of your cell phone to come in to an external web address.

ok thanks. So short of connecting to the call pilot through some sort of network connection there is no other way. You can't just call in and change it through the use of the menu. That's what I needed to know, thanks guys.

I find it hilarious that I know the answer and how to do what they want, just sometimes I confuse the hell out of even myself.

There is a way to do this by calling in and changing the greeting by phone, you wouldn't be changing anything in the CCR but you can change from one Greeting to another. I'm not sure that I should post the instructions on this in an open forum, if you PM me I will send the info.
I'm sorry I mis-spoke, as mentioned by the original poster you can re-record a greeting remotely, not toggle between greetings. I shouldn't have read so fast, didn't mean to get everybody's hopes up.
