I have a MICS , which I programmed at * Set Relocation to YES. That was a mistake on my part, I do not like how the ports and dns get mixed up when the phones are moved by my customer. I have now changed the programming ** back ** to NO, but still have to correct my ports & dns.
How do I get my ports and dns back straight? tks. for your help!!

why do you want to give yourself that trouble
and time just inventory what extensions on what ports so if your system crashes or defaults then you just move the jumpers to the right ports

How many stations do you have on this? If there were 20 or so, you could move jumpers without too much time, if 70 then Sentrex1 has made a perfect point.

You could go into maintenance and change all the DNs to a higher range an then go back and change them to the the correct numbers port by port.

Are all the phones the same type? If not then you will be doing all the buttons over again.

Maybe you could like how they are just by making up a list and being happy.

If you know where they came from you can turn set relocation back on, move phones then turn set relocation off. Then move the cross connect wherever the new location needs to be.
