Background: I'm working on a large scale VoIP project. I have a location that has an Option 11 load version 14.

Their primary local service is now on a PRI. I need to re-purpose 4 of the analog trunks for a new service. The trunks are vacant and available on position cab 20, shelf 0, slot 0 position 0 thru 3.

I need to have these trunks ring to a hunt group (24 hrs) with two extensions.

I do not know enough about the programming on an Option 11. I would just be hacking away at this.

The customer is self maintained for routine moves and changes, but they are not capable of setting this up themselves. They have local programming access, but the modem/serial port/LAN is not connected to a public network.

They do not have a maintenance contract for the system. Their local equipment vendor is SBC/AT&T. As the project lead, I choose to not use SBC/AT&T for a number of reasons.

The equipment is located in Granger, IN (near South Bend). I'm more than capable of remote typing, or other arrangement as necessary.

I don't want to get crosswise with this forum, which has been a great resource. I looked to see if it was appropriate to issue a 'call for help' like this, and I'm not quite sure.

I'm not asking for free support. This site has a system that is just outside our regular area of knowledge, and I'd rather work with a forum member than the regular system vendor for this specific location. The agency is OK with, and supports this decision.

PM or e-mail me at mark (dot) grady (at) gmail (dot) com if you have any suggestions.

Mark,

Option 11 card slot represents the loop number the shelf will be zero and the units are 0 thru 3.

You will need to go in LD 16 and build a Route Data Block for incoming trunks.

Give this route a nite of the dummy ACD group that you build later.(You will need to come back and set the nite dn after you build the Dummy ACD)

Then in LD 14 build your trunks 20-0-0 thru 20-0-3.

You can set up a dummy ACD group LD 23 with the nite call forward to the first DN and then hunt the first DN to the second DN of the two stations.

A word of caution: If you use a loop start trunk arrangement the trunks may not release when the outside party hangs up.

I would suggest ground start and mark the trunks Supervision Yes in the Trunk Data Block.

Doing the right thing is not always easy....but doing the right thing is always the right thing to do!
