I have a BCM 1000 and can access the programming through telset. The gui interface password has been changed and I don't know what that password was changed to. Is there a way to reset the gui password through telset?

No, there isn't a way to reset the UM password via telset.
Even worse, telset administration is NOT supported in version 3.6. Yes, it can be accessed, but making configuration changes through the telset interface is KNOWN to cause corruption. If you have redundant harddrives, the corruption will mirror across both disks. I have replaced a lot of harddrives (prior to the availability of the BIT tool) due to other vendors programming via the telset interface.
