The existing Norstar has 2 T-1s. One is a PRI, the other is not. Can I add a 3rd T-1 (2nd PRI)without upgrading to a MICS 7.0?

thanks.

As far as I know, on any MIC's you can only have 2 T1's as they have to be located in the core cabinet.

My information states that you can add a 3rd T1 to a MICS 6.1. Just not sure if you need another PRI enabler code.

Does the 3rd T-1 (PRI) go into the 1st slot of the 1st Trunk Module?

Maybe next time I should look at the cd before speaking. The manual does show the 3nd PRI in slot 1 of the TM.

What if the original PRI Enabler codes are not written down anywhere? frown

The code doesn't need to be entered again when adding another PRI. It just needs to be entered once, to unlock the PRI parameters in software.

I hope that helps!

But if at all possible I would see if I could find the codes. This way if you ever or for some reason the system ever defaults you will have them.
