OK, went to a vendor show that featured the BCM series and I liek the general impression I got from it. I do however have a couple of qustions.

On the BCM 50 they said that the amphenal on the back was for digital AND analg depending on how it was punched down on the 66 block. How does this work? Is it just pairs 1-X digital and pairs 20-X analog or can you punch it for different types?

Also, we are looking at it for a 2 office customer. I like being able to use all digital internal at each location! Is it possible to link the 2 50's together at each location for extension dialing? We will have a VPN and QOS routers in place so that they can see each other at least.

Also, if connected together, can I make office A dial through office B system when they place calls with B's area code?

Can it use VoIP trunk rather than analog?

Can it forward no answer calls to a cell phone?

That shoudl do for now. Thanks for the help on this and previous posts!!!!!

The Amphenol on the main cabinet has 4 analog CO ports, 4 analog station ports, 12 digital station ports, paging and aux relay connections. Key codes are required to activate each port.

Yes

Yes

BCM 50 does not support VoIP trunking

Can it forward no answer calls to a cell phone?
Extrnal call forwarding is all calls only

Thanks Marv, With those answers and the fact that it is only about a grand more than the allworx we were looking (and the fact that I can do digital sets as well without a traditional cabinet layout) I will look into the BCM further.

Thanks again for the info.

I agree with Telemarv except that the BCM 50 DOES support VoIP trunking with keycodes (minimum two trunks) and it uses MCDN.

To expand, the BCM 50 supports VoIP trunking for private networking between systems.

Yeah, I lost my ticket so I didn't win anything! Course with my luck I would have gotten the parner system (which I REALLY didn't want).

We should get together sometime and see how we can help each other. I think you handle a lot more area and systems than we do.

Hopefully we will be getting the in-house BCM next week so I can play with it! Thanks for all the answers guys!
