Reboot!!!
But yes, I have had a similar issue, very tricky to troubleshoot. first check to see that the network isn't congested, and that the power to the sets is good.
If all is ok, I would try a reboot on the BCM. Also, look at installing all available patches, at least the ones which apply somewhat to your issue.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Nickels' recommendations are sound. If the problems persist or return after a reboot, the hardware may be affected by a couple of known issues. There was a run of bad Base Function Trays(motherboard) and there were some alterations made to the MSC. Nortel offered replacement parts free of charge for both issues, but those programs have ended.

I had this happen about 2 years ago. They were all at the same remote location. Check and see if one set reboots more than the rest or drops first. When I replaced the set the that dorps the most the issue went away.

The BCMs before 4.0 were built around NT and the Windows NT created some flakey problems at times like self-rebooting at odd times.
I used to have strange problems with some BCMs until I started scheduling reboots once a month. After that, rock solid performance.
