I have a customer that has a Nam with 4.0 and cintech call centre software on it. The hard drive has started to make noise, and it is only a matter of time until it crashes. I can get a new hardrive for the Nam with 4.1 software. The problem is that the customer does not have the cintech software disks to reinstall onto the new hard drive. Cintech says that they do not support that software any more. I know that you can backup the nam and then reload it to a diffrent hard drive but how do i backup the cintech software to reload to the new hard drive. Thanks for your time

have you tried going thru the os2 with a mouse and monitor and try copying it that way
just a thought

I haved looked but could not find anywhere to back up or restore. If the nam and the cintech software are both installed on the same harddrive could I not back up or restore using nam feature 44?

The "44" option is only going to backup the mail. You will need the Original software CD to reinstall the ACD. If they don't have that, I would suggest replacing everything with a CallPilot 150.

ACD and VM running co-resident on a NAM has not been supported for at least 4 years, due to a problem with cross-linked files. Repairing the existing unit is a band-aid.

Believe I have several copies of cintech software in the office if still needed. Don't recall the versions though.

Thanks Sentrex, BCM, toner, and Jwooten for your reply. I will suggest to upgrade to a call pilot but they have a MICS with 4.1 s/w and a PRI, so this to will have to be upgraded. I will let you know how it turns out.

If they have an MICS 4.1, it will not need to be upgraded. This is the 1st version that was compatible with the Call Pilot. All you need to do is install a Call Pilot.
