What is the difference between 6.1 and 6.1XC MICS software. Also will the cartridge I'm using with V4 software work with V6.1. Just want to buy the 6.1 PCMCIA card.

The regular 6.1 is only allow you to have one 6 port expension but XC is additional 6 port expension capabilities. You can not use the same cartridge. Not enough Memory.

Also, if you have a PRI on your Norstar, make sure you use the "Maintenance Release" of 6.1.
