Correct me if I'm wrong but to go from an MICS 6.0 standard to an MICS 7.0 XC. All I need to do is:
1) Backup system
2) Power down and change out the software.
3) Bring the system up and look for any alarms if there is none.
4) I power down and add any additional Hardware then power the system back up.

Or should I do the above but go to 7.0 standard first then XC?

I would like to try and save the programming.

You will have to upgrade to 6.1 first or get the upgrade tool. You do know the latest software release is 7.1?
