setting up a BCM50e with IP phones, everything works great internally, can't access remotely ( but can access the router ) where are the settings for the WAN on the BCM , manuals direct me to the router settings, can't find them, HELP!

You should be able to find them under Configuration, System, IP Subsystem

I'm thinking that the router tab is under there, though I'm posting this from memory.

I'll get into one of my lab systems tomorrow AM and find it.

The "router" IS the WAN on the BCM. If you can see that, you already have access to what you need.

My guess is that you're not using an appropriate access method to communicate with the BCM. The correct method is a simple RAS connection (use Windows Dial-up Networking). Check your RAS IP address. It should be on the 10.10.14.0 subnet by default. Then, access the system in the normal fashion (using the unit's address on the RAS network).
