Well, it's a waste of a good Callpilot but.....
You can assign the Gen. Del. MB to a ringing phone (like reception) and have it set for fewer rings than the AA (better yet, turn the "answer lines" off in F983).
Record all the info in the G.D. MB and it will answer every time and take a message.

I want "Thanks for calling XYZ corp leave a message BEEP" - Possible? [/QUOTE]
The only true way to get that, is to have that phone line(s) ringing on the phone you have the mailbox. Turn OFF all Auto Attendant. Have the phone set for Forward No Answer- x-Rings. You don't need any AA.
Now if you can't have the lines ringing on that phone, the next best method is this: Set up AA to answer. Do not record any Greeting. Set up CCR tree with Path 0 = HOME MAILBOX NODE instead of a Home MENU Node. Record nothing in that prompt (if it ask for something) then it transfers the call to the Mail box. That should do it also.

MooreTel is right. If this is CICS hook up Answering mashine to SL port 19 and send that CallPilot to MooreTel as a present for best advice.

Scary thing is I have a customer who IS using a CP100 as an answering machine. I was laughing all the way to the bank that day.
