I have a NAM with a MICS 4.0. I have a pretty complicated hunt group set up and though this is probably a simple fix I seem to be having a problem.

Scenario: Hunt group 1 in a sequential mode.
The busy mode is overflow.
The overflow set is 250 after 60.
After business hours ext 250 is forwarded to an external cell.

Problem: The call to the hunt group ends up in the AA after 15, 30, and 45. If I extend it to 60 I get the overflow set like I want. I want to reduce the overflow time and still get the overflow set of 250.

I dont understand why the AA is intercepting calls that I want to point to the overflow set. Any ideas?

Are the calls originating from the AA? It probably your transfer recall timer that isforcing to AA. Change your recall timer to 12 or in the HG programming associate the lines to a HG. HG associated lines ignore transfer recall timer.

They do originate from the AA. I considered the recall except that the longer ring allows the phone to make it to the overflow set. Now I am thinking that the lines prime set may have something to do with it.

The line association will override DRT settings as well. Or turn it off.
