Have a school that is outgrowing their switch and actuall have an option 11 from 1992 in their switch room that has not been used for years. Nobody remembers who put it in or what the password is. Any way possible to default to factory settings wihtout having to have to pay nortel to do their pdt transfer to it? I am trying to save the school some money and the system seems to work fine, but the password needs to be defaulted. (cannot get into LOGI at all, however ports that are programmed already appear to work fine.) I don't believe their is a capacitor to short out on the option but there has to be a keystroke during power up or something. Any help would be great

1992 is probably an old pre PDT switch. Look at the CPU and find a model number. That'll give an idea of what you are dealing with.
