If you are using the optional remote handset lifter, plug the base unit (undoctored) into the HANDSET port of the port not the HEADSET port.

Also on a frequency note, the CS 50s run on a 900Mhz frequency which is filled with so many devices already, interference and static are almost always an issue. The CS 55 and 70 run on 1.9Ghz and seem to be more clear. The 7406 and CS 50 do not play well together. Click, Click, Click!
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Wow! Thanks for all the info guys! I will definately talk to the office manager and push the CS70 (for the 1.9GHz and the encryption). Thanks for checking into all of that too John. I have bookmarked this thread so I can come back to it
