A quick question for you folks.

Im working with meridian mail doing a cut-over and the TN's that im building have a tendency to become disabled after ive built them.

When i stat the TNs sometimes after i build them and they always seem to be enabled, but then an hour or five later ill get a complaint that someones phone isnt working. At this point i automatically figure that its become disabled if ive seen the phone lit up before because this keeps happening and im not sure why.

Not that its very hard to re-enable a TN but the stupid terminal im working on is in a different building and im beginning to get chafed from constantly walking back and forth.

If there were babes all over the building eek i might not complain but the jobs for a hard drive manufacturer full of engineers and other nerds like us.. so not too many chicks. :p

So im wondering, what is it thats causing these TN's to become disabled on their own? It looks like theres a time setting for disabling unused phones or something that im not aware of.

No cert, no support.

Thanks all.
J2

Typically a set will not disable unless it is unplugged and a card overloads or the maintenance procedure runs during the MIDN.

so what does it mean for the card to overload?

also, MIDN? whats a typical schedule for that kind of maintenance?
