Thanks, had it happen to me a few times.

As Nickels pointed out, the first time I spent two service calls and an hour of deleting and rebuilding mailboxes. For some reason this feature can get turned on by itself...power glitches?

I wrote THAT 1 down in my N/T cheat sheet! Now we wait to see what Lady Tech has to say. John C.

This is an issue I plan to ask in the next DAC conference call for LPS, to see if they can have a setting in system programming to turn on and off.

Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Even with static time turned on, there is still a msg indication above the 1st softkey.

What Nortel really should do, is change that Static Time feature so that it shows time for 2 sec. and then the real screen for 2 sec. and back and forth every 2 sec until turned off. Then you will see the time AND the real display that is important.
That would also correct the problem when Services are turned on. The poor person who has to see that all day instead of the time.

We are talking about a 7208 here, no soft touch keys. See Lady Tech's last post.

I agree. Static time and date is only good for one thing and that's NOTHING!

Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).
