I keep getting feedback through the handset when paging all speakers. If I turn the volume down using the bar, it goes away. However, when I answer the phone again, the volume is low and hard to hear - so I turn it up. Then when I go to page again, the feedback is there again.
I just replaced the phone, thinking that may have been the issue.
Any ideas on this?

Feedback is Feedback, you know what the problem is already. So 1 - put in a digital feedback eliminator or 2 - relocate the phone or 3 - reposition / relocate the horn.

The horns are in the warehouse. The only speaker near this phone is the one on the telephone itself.
May have to look in to the other options.

When you say "Paging All Speakers" - Are you also paging through all the phones?? You may have another phone close by giving the feedback. Also - I hope you are NOT using Handsfree when paging.

best thing to do is lift the handset, do your page, then hit release before you put the handset back in the cradle. as ntlayoff said do not page while the phone is in the cradle

I usually tell clients to hit the "R/s" button in lieu of hanging up....that way you don't hear the bing-bang of the handset hangingup.
Also try getting your body between the handset and the offending speaker to help block the feedback.

Yes - the page all speakers pages through the phones since there are no speakers in the office, and yes, the handset is lifted for the page. The closest phone is in another room - maybe 15' away.
I also try to get them to hit the Rls button, but that habit is hard to break - the slamming of the phone over the speakers can be very annoying.
