I was out at a customers and they had something programed called monitor. I did a feat*0 and it said 68. Well I called my vendor and he said you can do it but did not know how to program it. The customer wants me to program it on another phone. Can somone tell me how to program it?

If it said "68" and not a feature name my guess is it is a speed dial F*1 and follow the prompts.

Feature 68 just makes my phone go blank and eventually times out. If it's monitoring something I don't know what.

So, what is it monitoring on their phone? Might give us a hint as to how to program it.

is it possible that the system has something similar to a malco unit to monitor lines? where you see 68 is line 68?

F68 is used to make calls on restricted phones. The display goes blank waiting for a valid class-of-service password.

My guess would also be an autodial number if F*0 only shows 68 and nothing else. Of course, another possibility is the customer is mistaken.

If you have a FastRAD connect to the system using the browser. This may give you a better idea of what this button has programmed.

There is a silent monitoring feature, but I believe it only works from a supervisor set and only monitors incoming calls to hunt groups.

What is the software on the MIC's and if you seen 68 on the display when you did a button inquiry, as Marv says, that is not Feature 68.

Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol
