Hello everyone. I hope there is someone out there that can shed some light on this problem for us because our maintenance company Techs and Engineers are totally confused on what steps to take next. The problem with the CCR started about a year ago and has been occuring on and off since. We have received messages on the console that read: "Warning: Stray interrupt at vector number 'xxxxxx'". "Warning: PC = 'xxxxxxx', usp = 'xxxxxxxxxx', psw = 'xxxxxx' ". Of course there are several of these messages with differnt hex numbers. Once the messages start coming out, the link to the 61C drops and restarts several times over the course of the day and then after an unknown amount of time, the CCR finally locks up. The Techs and I have tried several differnt things to try and clear this up. We have replaced the hard drive several times, the power supply several times, the SBC card several times, reloaded the operating system and applications several times, and nothing seems to be working. Our latest decision is to swap out the cage that holds all of the component cards. We're not sure what else to try. And since the equipmnet is EOL, Nortel won't even talk with us. I hope someone can help with this. If anyone has encountered a similar problem, please don't hesitate to contact me via e-mail. We need all of the help we can get on this one. Thanks...

What software are you operating and do you have any remote sites working off your switch? When you say the "cage" do you mean the backplane and entire shelf?

Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Our switch is rls. 23.34 . The CCR is running 6.03 . When I say "cage" I'm talking about the small cabinet that houses the CCR components. The components slide in and plug in to the back of the so called "cage". The CCR is on a shelf with our Meridian Max. We have 2 remote sites working off the switch.
